Head Soundtrack by The Monkees

Head is the soundtrack to the film Head, the only theatrical release by The Monkees. Released in 1968 through Colgems, it was the band’s sixth album. Head was the last Monkees album to feature Peter Tork till Pool It! in 1987, and the last to feature all four Monkees until 1996’s Justus.  In addition to their hit Porpoise Song, there was other great tracks such as Daddy’s Song sung by Davy Jones, Circle Sky sung by Mike Nesmith, Can You Dig It sung by Micky Dolenz, Long Title: Do I Have to Do This All Over Again? sung by Peter Tork and more.  This album did not have the acclaim and their previous albums but it is worth adding to one’s Monkees library.
