Live at Manticore Hall by Keith Emerson and Greg Lake

Live from Manticore Hall is a live album released by former Emerson Lake and Palmer members Keith Emerson & Greg Lake recorded July 2014 on Manticore Records during their 2010 tour.  The missing ingredient to a full-fledged Emerson, Lake & Palmer reunion is, of course, drummer Carl Palmer.  This ten track album includes some of Emerson, Lake and Palmer classics Tarkus, Lucky Man, and From the Beginning.  It also contains such great tracks as I Talk To The Wind, C’est Le Vie, The Barbarian and others. This album was well performed, recorded and produced.  This album is a great addition to anyone’s Emerson, Lake and Palmer collection.

40 Years: The Album by The Bellamy Brothers

40 Years: The Album is a compilation of greatest hits and new tracks by The Bellamy Brothers, an American pop and country music duo consisting of brothers Howard and David Bellamy released May 2015 on the Bellamy Brothers label. Disc one contains hits they are well known for, such as Let Your Love Flow, If I Said You Have a Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me), Redneck Girl, Sugar Daddy, Dancin’ Cowboys and so much more while Disc Two contains all new material such as Old Love Song, Dyin’ Breed, Livin’ in Oblivion, Love By the Moon, Boobs and much more.  Their vocals and song writing is just as strong in the 2000’s as they were in the 1970’s.  If you were to add one Bellamy Brothers album to your country library, I would recommend this one

This album contains some great covers and some originals.  This eleven track album contains two Beatle covers Across the Universe and All You Need Is Love, a Pink Floyd cover Brain Damage from The Far Side Of The Moon and even a Christmas song Little Drummer Boy.  I also liked the tracks Hypernova and Where We Belong.  This album also included the Door’s hit Back Door Man and something different Deep Down featuring Star Trek’s William Shatner.  This album was very well performed, recorded and produced.  Whether you are Doors fan, or looking for anything different you will love this album.

Manoeuvres by Greg Lake

Manoeuvres is the second and the last studio album by English guitarist and singer Greg Lake, released in July 1983 by Chrysalis Records. The album features a progressive rock sound resembling that of Asia, the group Lake would join briefly in the end of 1983. This album grabbed my attention beginning with the first track which was also the title track Manoeuvres. Also on this album there are great tracks such as A Woman Like You, Famous Last Words, Slave To Love, I Don’t Know Why I Still Love You and more great songs.  This is my favorite Greg Lake solo albums I have listened to so far. You must give this album a listen and add to your music library.
