He is best known for winning Season 7 of NBC’s reality TV singing competition The Voice as a part of Blake Shelton’s team. Craig has a great voice as shown in such tracks as Stuck In My Head, She’s Killing Me, Everywhere You Go, Hold Me Up and much more. This album was well written, performed, recorded and produced. After hearing this album, I can see nothing but a great future for Craig. I got to get my hands on his earlier albums. You will definitely want to add this album to your country library.
For my 591st review, I am very honored to present the latest album by The Scooter Brown Band called American Son released September 8, 2017 on the BFD Records label. This great band, led by Scott Brown, a Marine Corps veteran bring this third country/rock album to light, along with bandmates Nathan Lockhart, Steven Sutherland, and Matt Bledsoe featuring great vocals, harmonies, and instrumental backup. I enjoyed this album from start to finish but if I had to chose favorite cuts off this thirteen track album I would have to choose such songs as the title track American Song, Won’t Back Down, Broken Arrow, Guitars Guitars and Whiskey, Huntsville and much more. I was impressed with how well this album was written, performed, recorded and produced. I highly recommend this album to your country music library.
Side Effects is the latest album by Charleston, South Carolina singer/songwriter Joe Gallagher Jr. Joe has a great voice and wonderful instrumental backup as noticed in such tracks as Indian Giver, Stone House, Thunder, Cannons and so much more. Yesterday I received the CD You’re The Reason by singer/songwriter from Australia Ross Seddon released March 2017 on the Grantham Studios Records label. As soon as I put this CD in to listen to, I was very impressed with Ross’s voice and his songwriting ability. From the very first song, the title track You’re The Reason which has a top 40 country sound and continuing with such songs as What’s Wrong With That?, You Go Your Way, I Don’t Know Why and others, I discovered he also performs Rock and Blues also. I am impressed on how well this album was written (all songs written by Ross Seddon), recorded and produced. I am anxious to hear any other releases this artist has done. Though Tolliver and Warrix grew up in different towns in southeastern Kentucky, their band’s origins are in Hazard, Kentucky, which was halfway between their hometowns.
