Voyager At The Heliopause by Dr. Chrispy

Today I would like to present the latest single by the award-winning aeronautical engineer, music producer and songwriter Dr. Chrispy (AKA Dr. Chris Boshulzen).  His new single “VOYAGER AT THE HELIOPAUSE” will release online everywhere music is streamed and sold on June 14, 2019. The single is a tribute to the NASA Voyager spacecraft that launched in 1977 and returns stunning images from our solar system that inspired Chris to pursue his passion for space.  I found this song to be very relaxing with piano, electronic sound, and great background.  I was well performed, written and recorded.  Looking forward to hearing rest of the album when released.

Bilateral Music II by Bryan Cumming

Bilateral Music II is July 27, 2018 album by an amazing recording artist and a good friend Bryan Cumming.  Like the original Bilateral Music album, the songs on Bilateral Music II use acoustic guitar, light percussion, subtle keyboard pads and nature sounds to generate calm, soothing music, slowly panning back and forth, left to right.  After hearing his first album, I knew I had to listen to this one.  Funny thing was I woke up this morning in severe pain from several back surgeries and still having pain problems with the change of weather.  I put this CD in and by the third song by being more relaxed the pain level went down.  This album contains such great tracks such as Morning Light, Often Blessing, Carolina Silver Bell, Benevolent Rule and much more.  This album was well written (all songs were written and arranged by Bryan Cumming), recorded and performed.  This album is available for purchase from Amazon, Itunes and other outlets where CD’s and digital downloads are sold.

The Mindfire Tapes by Jeff Gutman

Every once in a while I take one artist and share their growth from a new artist to what they are today.  In this case, I wish to present San Francisco singer/songwriter Jeff Gutman and over the next few weeks, I will be reviewing all six of his albums starting with this first album The Mindfire Tapes which was released in 1999.  This debut album of twenty-one songs features a collection of song fragments, sound experiments and ambient instrumentals on such tracks as Oh Well, Pickle Sauce, Crossroad Sun, Speedin’ A Line, Eye Of The Hurricane and so much more.  I was impressed with his great vocals and acoustic guitar style as well as his songwriting abilities and his use of electronic sounds.  This release was well recorded, produced and performed and can be purchased from Amazon, CD Baby and other outlets where CD’s and digital downloads are sold.
