Let It Be by The Beatles

Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album by the English rock band The Beatles. It was released on 8 May 1970 on Capitol Records almost a month after the group’s break-up.  Even though Abbey Road was the last album recorded it took a while for this album to be edited and ready for release.   Billy Preston even performed in this album and his contribution with his piano solo in the song Get Back.  A movie was made of this album showing the rehearsal and the work on this album and later their last live performance on the rooftop of Apple Studio. This album released three major singles Get Back, Let it Be, and Long and Winding Road.  Other notable tracks on this album are Two Of Us, I’ve Got A Feeling, Across The Universe and much more.  I like how this album was written, performed, recorded and produced (by Phil Spector).  I am glad to own this one as well as a version on white vinyl.  I recommend this one to anyone’s Beatles library.
