We’re Still Rockin’ by The WannaBeatles

Last night in my town of Jonesborough, Tennessee I had the opportunity to listen to one of the best independent bands I have heard in some time The WannaBeatles, a Beatles tribute band out of Nashville, Tennessee.  Dennis Scott, Bryan Cumming, Nathan Burbank and David Toledo gave a great show of Beatles classics and a fantastic medley of what they call The Summer of Love which included songs from the year 1967 ranging from Scott Mackenzie to The Association, to The Monkees and to The Doors.  In addition to covers by The Beatles and other groups, I am proud to present the album We’re Still Rockin’ a collection of twelve original songs written by the members of the band released June 21, 2013 on the Wannabeats Record label.   I liked this album from start to finish with such great up tempo tracks such as Let’s Run Away, In ’63, Oh Betty, and great ballads such as Bristol Lights and If We Simply Love.  This album was well written, performed, recorded and produced. I highly recommend this album to anyone that is a fan of the sound of the 60’s. I am looking forward to hearing more from this band and see them in concert again. This album is available for purchase at Amazon, CD Baby, Itunes, and at http://www.thewannabeatles.com/wannabeatles-shop.html.
