Over-Nite Sensation is the 7th studio album by Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention and was released on September 7, 1973 the DiscReet Records label. Much of the album’s lyrics deal with sex. For example the song Dinah-Moe Humm describes a woman who wagers that the narrator can’t give her an orgasm and is ultimately aroused by watching him have sex with her sister. Other topics on this album include the song Montana about a person moving to Montana to grow dental floss. I didn’t know that Tina Turner and the Ikettes did harmonies on this song and Ike Turner did not want the Ikettes to be paid more than $25.00; I don’t know the reason why. After the harmonies were finished and Ike heard the finished product and said “What is this Shit?” and demanded that the Ikettes is not credited on the album. This album also contains such tracks as Camarillo Brillo, I’m The Slime and others. I think this was one of the most popular of his albums.
