Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy by Elton John

Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, the ninth formal studio album release for Elton John, is an autobiographical account of the early musical careers of Elton John (Captain Fantastic) and Bernie Taupin (the Brown Dirt Cowboy). It was released in May 1975 by the MCA Records label.  This album is one of my favorite Elton John albums which contains ten tracks with such great songs as the title track Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy, Tower of Babel, Curtains, and my favorite track Someone Saved My Life Tonight.  All songs were written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.  This album was very well performed, recorded and produced (by Gus Dudgeon).  I highly recommend this album to anyone’s Elton John collection.
