Goodnight Vienna by Ringo Starr

Since I started writing reviews again, I have reviewed several Beatles albums plus solo releases by Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison but there was one Beatle I totally forgot till today and that was their drummer Ringo StarrGoodnight Vienna is the fourth studio album by Ringo Starr. It was released in November 1974 on The Beatles label Apple Records.  While all three other former Beatles had contributed to previous Ringo albums, only John Lennon contributed to this album with writing the title track Goodnight Vienna. Lennon also played acoustic guitar on Ringo’s cover of The Platters big hit Only You (And You Alone) and Elton John wrote and played piano on the song Snookeroo.  Also featured on this album is No No Song.  This album was very well written, performed and recorded.  I recommend this album to anyone’s Beatles or solo Beatles library.
