Yessongs by Yes

My review of Yessongs, the first live album by the English rock band Yes released on 18 May 1973 by Atlantic Records. The album is a compilation of recordings from their North American tours in support of their fourth and fifth studio albums, Fragile (1971) and Close to the Edge (1972), between February and December 1972. There are a lot of great songs on this album such as You and I, Close To The Edge, I’ve Seen All Good People.  My favorite side on this three album set is side three.  It starts out with Mood For A Day then follows with solo my keyboardist Rick Wakeman called Excerpts From Six Wives of Henry VIII. At 6 minutes and 37 seconds it shows Rick Wakeman’s keyboard talent and is on his first solo album.  Finally is my favorite Yes song of all time is Roundabout which was the first single released from their fourth studio album Fragile which was released on 26 November 1971. I would highly recommend this album to anyone who loves Yes or loves live albums.
