Woodstock: Music from the Original Soundtrack and More

In my review of Woodstock: Music from the Original Soundtrack and More is a live album of selected performances from the 1969 Woodstock counterculture festival. Originally released on Atlantic Records‘ Cotillion label as a set of 3 LPs on May 11, 1970.  This collection starts off with I had a dream by John Sebastian former lead singer for The Lovin Spoonful and ends with The Star Spangled Banner and Purple Haze by Jim Hendrix.  It includes such great performances such as Soul Sacrifice by Santana, We’re Not Gonna Take It by The Who, With A Little Help From My Friends by Joe Cocker and much more. If you have not seen the film or listened to this LP, please take a listen and you will want to add this to your record library.
